Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown held the grand opening of its new worship center on Sunday, Oct. 18, welcoming a full house of worshipers of all ages. The congregation in the overflowing room joined together in praise, heard a message from Pastor Tony Celelli, and shared in fellowship following the service. The new worship center is the result of years of prayer, planning, and generosity from the congregation. During construction, members wrote Scripture on the structure and walls before they were enclosed, so that God’s Word would remain part of the building for generations to come. During the service, the church joined in a prayer of dedication. “We dedicate this building to you and ask that it always be used to further your kingdom and bring glory to your name,” they prayed. “May everything that happens here point people to Jesus, and may we always continue to be people sharing Jesus.”
