Christian Mission to Gaza, a nonprofit organization providing humanitarian aid and spiritual support to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and refugees across the Middle East, continues supporting those in need as the ongoing Israel-Hamas war has displaced families across the Gaza Strip.
Since the start of the war in 2023, CM2G has provided more than 70,000 hot meals to displaced families across the Gaza Strip and, with donor support, has distributed food vouchers and food baskets to Christian and Muslim families in the region.
CM2G provided 1,000 hot meals in June and has already distributed another 1,000 in July, including meals to one of Gaza’s most vulnerable communities. The team recently visited a camp in Gaza City that is home to approximately 60 families—about 320 individuals—battling cancer and their loved ones.

Residents said it was the first humanitarian assistance their community had received in more than three months.
Hope amid hardship
Mahmoud, a resident of Gaza City, and nearly 30 members of his extended family had been displaced since the start of the war. Earlier in the war, CM2G delivered food and blankets to the family. As the war continued, the family faced additional challenges, including serious injuries sustained by Mahmoud’s wife, Eman, which affected her vision and mobility.
Following another fall, her mobility declined, leaving her in urgent need of a wheelchair and toilet chair. Mahmoud sought assistance from multiple organizations but did not receive a response. CM2G provided the medical equipment Eman needed, offering critical support as she navigated the challenges of her injuries.
CM2G also distributed new tents to families facing unsafe and overcrowded living conditions.
The organization’s founder and president, Pastor Hanna Massad, expressed gratitude to donors for supporting families affected by illness, displacement, and loss. Massad quoted Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.”
