GLORIETA—Retired ministers, denominational workers and spouses gathered to celebrate the recent 10th annual Retired Ministers Retreat at Glorieta Conference Center, near Santa Fe, N.M.

Richard Faling, retired BGCT Executive Board staff member and director of the event, recognized four individuals as instrumental in launching the annual conference—Bill Pinson, BGCT executive director emeritus; Ed Rog-ers, retired director of the Human Welfare Coordinating Board; Roger Hall, retired BGCT treasurer and CFO; and the late Gene Greer, former associate director of the State Missions Commission.

Paul Powell, retired dean of Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary, served as preacher for the retreat, and Hall led the daily Bible study with a focus on the conference theme, “Keep the Dream Alive.” Sam Prestidge, retired director of the BGCT church music department, led the congregational and choral music. Bill Hanson, former instrumentalist at First Baptist Church of Dallas, played the organ.
