Less than three weeks before North Korea shelled the South Korean YeonPyeong Island and tensions on the Korean Peninsula escalated, a Dallas-based Baptist missions worker delivered 60 tons of corn to North Koreans suffering from a longstanding food shortage in their country.

DBU’s care for one Chilean student grows into broad-based mission trip
This fall, a 14-member team of DBU students and staff traveled to Concepción, Chile, to help with reconstruction in the city, not far from the hometown of Miguel Faúndez, a student from Chile who was at DBU when a devastating earthquake caused widespread damage in February.
