  Waco’s Church Under the Bridge marks 25 years of changed lives

  About 25 years ago, Jimmy and Janet Dorrell were eating breakfast tacos at a Waco fast-food restaurant when they saw a homeless man who had been sleeping under the I-35 overpass near the Baylor University campus, between 4th and 5th streets. Their subsequent conversation with him eventually led to the founding of Church Under the Bridge.
