  Small churches feeling financial squeeze

  Almost all churches in the United States witnessed a change in the financial giving they received in 2010 compared to 2009, with smaller churches feeling the squeeze but larger churches faring relatively better, according to a new report.

  Ethics students granted Cobbs Scholarships

  Kyle Tubbs of Sweetwater and Joseph Barrett of Rochester are the recipients of Cobbs Scholarships at Hardin-Simmons University’s Logsdon School of Theology. The scholarship honors Louis Cobbs, former International Mission Board  executive who helped launch the  Journeyman program.
