Teen volunteers change the world, one neighborhood at a time
While many teenagers typically spend free time in the summer swimming at the beach or watching TV, 230 students from five states arrived in Dallas recently for a World Changers effort to paint siding, build ramps and work on roofs in 100-degree heat.

Bible Drill competitor overcomes obstacles
In spite of limitations due to cerebral palsy, Regan Brown of First Baptist Church in Hallettsville competed in the regional Bible Drill competition in Austin. She earned a “superior” rating—and a standing ovation from those who attended.
