Volunteers for LifeWay Christian Resources' World Changers painted the trim and placed siding on the East Dallas home of Daniel Carillo. Primera Iglesia Bautista in Dallas provided lodging for the volunteers. This year the program has projects in more than 85 cities

Vestal focuses on God in final sermon as CBF leader
There were plenty of big developments for Daniel Vestal to address in his final sermon at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship general assembly, including approval of the 2012 Task Force report, a distinctive CBF identity for congregations that desire it and a $12.4 million budget.

CBF commissions new field personnel, church starters
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship commissioned eight field personnel and church starters at the group's annual general assembly. And in a challenge to the CBF, Phil Christopher, pastor of First Baptist Church in Abilene, talked about his church's $5 million capital campaign for missions, which began in 2010.
