Molly Rogers Houser, former Baptist missionary to Africa, died Nov. 12 in Waco. She was 85. She was born Aug. 31, 1935, in Dallas. She attended Baylor University. She and her husband Jim served from 1964 to 1993 with the Southern Baptist Convention’s Foreign Mission Board (now International Mission Board) in Kenya and Tanzania. She was a leader in Woman’s Missionary Union, known by dozens of missionary kids as “Aunt Molly.” She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jim; sons Bryan Houser, Scott Houser, Stacy Houser and Bill Houser; daughter Mona Entwistle; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
